Your knowledge base has a built-in glossary feature that allows you to add automatically highlighted
terms to your knowledge base. When the visitor clicks on the highlighted term they see a small layer
of text with the definition.
Add Term
To add a term to your glossary, click on knowledgebase at the top and then click on Add Term to
the left. Enter the term, the name of the word that you would like to see highlighted. Followed by the
term header which is a short phrase that is generally descriptive of the term. When a glossary term
is clicked, this short term is displayed along with the definition. The header should be short and no
more than 40 characters. Next, add the definition of the term. Your explanation and/or definition for
the term should be no more than 200 characters.
You can limit terms to certain categories by selecting the categories you wish the term to be used in.
By default the term is used in all categories. To specify which categories the term is to be used in Hit
Ctrl on your keyboard until you have clicked on all the categories you wish your term to appear in.
After adding a term you can go to the public view of your knowledge base and find an article that
contains the term. Every time that you come across this word in a sentence the term is highlighted.
Clicking on the highlighted terms brings up the definition inside of a text box.
